Moonlight Ride on Sand Creek

Last night was the full Rose moon or Strawberry moon. The weather was warm and the clouds parted after a while. I decided to ride Sand Creek to see what I could see. First I took the RTD 15Ltd to Colfax and Potomac.

Head North to the Tollgate Creek Trail. Turn right at the Quonset hut.
Sand Creek Trail at night.

The Moon through the clouds.

The bridge they were building is complete. I'm not so sure it's for the light rail.
We are ready for takeoff.
Suncor refinery at night.
This is strange. The cameras next to the Waste Treatment plant have red lighs under them. I think they are infared lights to help them see at night. Jeez, someone had some homeland security money burning a hole in their pocket or something. It's Sewage, people!

The video below gives you a close up view of the "infared" lights. You can see another post/ red light in the distance.

Sand Creek is always awesome. The construction detours are over and the pollution at the Sand Creek > Platte River confluence don't affect the bike path.
